To add an email account to BlueMail, do the following:
- In BlueMail, click "Other Email" under the Add Account option
- Enter the email address you are setting up
- Enter the password
- The app should find the configuration and add the account
- If the app can not find the information it will ask if you are using IMAP or POP3 and you would pick which one best fits you:
- IMAP stores all mail on the server and is best used with multiple devices -- like a mobile device and a computer
- POP3 downloads and deletes mail from the mail server -- it is best used for one mail client at a time because of a mismatching of mail
- On the Incoming server page, enter the server name found on your mail services page in the either the client area or the control panel
- You may use mail.example.com where example.com is your domain, however, you may also receive an error that the security certificate does not match
- Set Security to: SSL / TLS
- If you used mail.example.com, use the option that does not have "check / verify certificate"
- Set port to 993 if you picked IMAP or 995 if you picked POP3
- Hit Next
- On the outgoing server page enter:
- Use the server address you used for the incoming server above
- Security: SSL / TLS
- Port 465
- Complete the rest of the account setup
