How to find which servers are used for services

With our service clustering, your account can use multiple servers.  To find out which ones you are using for each service, please do the following:

Web service:
  1. Login to the control panel via either the client area or directly
  2. Go to FTP / user account -> FTP user -> and the server name is listed under the hostname area.
MySQL:
  1. Login to the control panel via either the client area or directly
  2. Go to Databases -> MySQL -> MySQL DBs -> and the server name will be listed under the hostname area
    • NOTE: It is important to use the hostname and not the IP listed when connecting via scripts as the IP can change, though it is very rare.

Mail:
  1. Login to the control panel via either the client area or directly
  2. Go to Domain Settings -> Domain info -> click the domain that you are interested in -- if multiple
  3. Click on edit button for "DNS configuration"
  4. Under the built-in CNAME area, there should be a "mail.example.com" where example.com is your real domain.
  5. Under the data column of the CNAME record for mail.example.com will be the mail server you are using.
