You may need to use DNS records for services else where, such as email via gmail. To setup those records, please do the following:
- Login to the control panel (please see https://u2-web.com/knowledgebase/126/How-to-Login-to-Control-Panel.html on how to do that)
- Go to Domain settings menu --> Domain info

- If you have multiple domains listed, click the domain that you are interested in
- On the domain info page, go to DNS configuration

- On the DNS configuration page you will be able to add A, MX, CNAME, and TXT records and you create those using the "Add custom record" for each type

- When creating records, the "name" field should be left blank if you are only dealing with the domain and not a sub domain (sub.domain.com) or www.
- The data field is the address that the record should have
- When creating "MX" records, leave the name field blank
- When creating CNAME records, put only the sub domain part in the cname . So if you are creating a cname for cname.domain.com, you only put "cname" in the name field
