Resource limit being reached?

The control panel sends out notices when your account reaches certain resource limits.  There are different quota levels also.  Each limit type is listed below:

Quotas:
All quotas are added together to the "summary quota".  Unless otherwise noted, the summary quota is the figure we use for overages.
FTP quota (user quota or just quota): this is the ftp storage area for your web files .  You can view this via the control panel --> FTP / user account --> FTP user --> Quota.  This quota can be increased via the same page.  Depending on the plan, it may incur a charge.   Beyond your ability to not upload when the quota is reached, no services are affected.

Mailbox quota (will list the email address): this is the amount of storage mail is taking for this mailbox.  If the mailbox quota is reached, mail will bounce back to the sender.  Each mailbox has its own quota.  You can view the quotas via the control panel --> Mail manager --> Mail info --> the mailbox row --> xx MB out of xxxx MB where x is a real number.  The "out of xxxx MB" is the quota and clicking on the "xxxx" number brings up a edit page to change that quota.  Mailbox quota can be changed without charge on all plans.

MySQL database quota: this is the amount of storage that a mysql database is taking up .  The quota is soft quota and no services are affected for going above it.  You can change the quota via the control panel --> Databases --> MySQL --> MySQL DBs --> the database --> quota.  This quota can be changed without charge on all plans.

MSSQL Database quota: this is the amount of storage that a mssql database and its transaction log is taking .  If the quota is reached, your site may show an error.  The quota can be increased via the control panel --> Databases --> MSSQL --> MSSQL DBs --> the database --> quota .  NOTE:  if the quota is almost reached, shrinking of the transaction log may be required before changing of the quota can be done.  This quota can be changed without charge on all windows based plans.

Traffic:
This is the amount of traffic per month that your account has used for websites and mail.  You can see the amount and the break down via the control panel --> Statistics on left side of page --> click the magnifier under "Total traffic".  The amount is for incoming and outgoing traffic, though usually only outgoing is the highest figure because of sending (outgoing) data to your visitors .   If traffic goes over the plan's limit, the system will charge an overage and that would depend on the plan.
