  • IMAP
    1. Go to the Spamexperts panel's login and click "Retrieve login" .
      1. If the panel URL is not known, click the "Login to Panel" button under the Spamexperts service in our billing system.  Once logged in, log out.
      2. Take note of the domain in the URL - between the "https://" and the next "/" .  This will be used later
    2. On the "Retrieve login" page, enter the email address that is protected by spamexperts.

    4. Now logged in as the email user, change the password for the email user's spamexperts user via the User Profile page -- it should be the first page seen when you login
    5. Go to your mail client and setup a new IMAP mail account and use this information:
      1. Username:  the email address
      2. Password: the password you just set in spamexperts
      3. Hostname: enter the domain used in the URL for the panel
      4. Port: 993.
      5. Encryption:  SSL / TLS
      6. Authentication type: Password
    6. Now you should have the IMAP account setup in your mail client
    7. Go to the spam message in your mail client
    8. Select the message or messages
    9. Drag and drop the messages from your inbox to the Spam folder within the newly created Spamexperts IMAP account.

(NOTE: For the above to be effective, you need to be using our spamexperts service.  If you are not using that system or not sure, please contact us.)
