To report spam that has come through spamexperts to your mailbox, please pick one of the following methods:
- Report spam via the spamexperts user interface via the "Train Messages" option in the left menu
- Save the spam messages as file type eml, txt, or msg using your mail client's Save Message option.
- Login to the Spamexperts panel
- Go to Incoming -> Train Messages
- Click "Browse" and select the spam message files you saved
- Select "Spam Messages" as the type of reporting
- Forward email -- including full headers -- to spamreport@spamrl.com .
- IMAP
- Go to the Spamexperts panel's login and click "Retrieve login" .
- If the panel URL is not known, click the "Login to Panel" button under the Spamexperts service in our billing system. Once logged in, log out.
- Take note of the domain in the URL - between the "https://" and the next "/" . This will be used later
- On the "Retrieve login" page, enter the email address that is protected by spamexperts.
- An email will be sent with a auto login link, click it once you receive that email
- Now logged in as the email user, change the password for the email user's spamexperts user via the User Profile page -- it should be the first page seen when you login
- Go to your mail client and setup a new IMAP mail account and use this information:
- Username: the email address
- Password: the password you just set in spamexperts
- Hostname: enter the domain used in the URL for the panel
- Port: 993.
- Encryption: SSL / TLS
- Authentication type: Password
- Now you should have the IMAP account setup in your mail client
- Go to the spam message in your mail client
- Select the message or messages
- Drag and drop the messages from your inbox to the Spam folder within the newly created Spamexperts IMAP account.
- Go to the Spamexperts panel's login and click "Retrieve login" .
(NOTE: For the above to be effective, you need to be using our spamexperts service. If you are not using that system or not sure, please contact us.)
