Due to PCI requirements as well as general security measures, we will be blocking connections to our mysql servers that do not come from our IPs. This process will start with mysql3 and will go over to mysql2-5 at some point in the future as well as future deploys. If you use external (not hosted with us) scripts/applications that need to be able to connect to the mysql servers, please contact us to see what options we can provide.
If you would like to be moved to mysql3 to pass PCI requirements, please let us know .
